Our general purpose capstans are for when you need more speed than grunt ,but don't require the speed of an anchor capstan.
These midspeed winches have steady power and steady speed and are well suited for furling work.
All our winches have Auto braking and will not run back under load. Because of our epicyclic drive, sometimes referred to as a planetary drive, they have lower battery drain than worm drive winches. All our winches are built as standard with RH rotation, but you can contact us at the factory for LH and dual direction options.
They are designed to fit any deck thickness.
